2010
From custom software to Digital Experts
Halvotec’s roots lie in software development. Over time, our capabilities expanded to include digital workplace solutions and business process automation. These services were brought together under one umbrella with the creation of Digital Experts, a unit that combines software engineering with deep expertise in corporate digitization.
2015
Expansion of the Microsoft portfolio
Due to the close integration with the existing Microsoft technology portfolio, this was strategically expanded in 2015 to include the ERP solution Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Navision). This allows synergies to be consistently exploited and new cross-selling potential to be tapped into within the Digital Experts subsidiary.

Co-Founder and CEO, Halvotec Group & RAQUEST
Alexander Lerch studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich and laid the foundations for Halvotec GmbH in 1999 together with Ulrich Vogl and two other founders. As Managing Director, he is responsible for the commercial, market and customer areas of the entire group.
Managing Director, Digital Experts
Thomas Ostarek has been part of Halvotec since 2012. After studying computer science, he worked as a software developer at Digital Experts and was responsible for the development division as Head of Development from 2017. In 2020, he took over the management and joined the management team when Digital Experts GmbH was founded.
Management RIOS Solutions
Joachim Krämer was one of the first employees to complete his training at Halvotec in 1999. In 2010, he took over the management of the RIOS Solutions division and joined the management team when the subsidiary was founded.
Co-Founder and CEO, Halvotec Group & RAQUEST
Ulrich Vogl founded Halvotec GmbH in 1999 while still at school with Alexander Lerch and two other friends. Shortly afterwards, he took over the architecture of complex software projects for major international corporations. Today, as CTO, he is responsible for software development for the entire Halvotec Group.
